The Religious Education program of Saint Aloysius Parish provides structured age-appropriate Catholic religious instruction for children in a warm and caring environment. A strong emphasis is given to the proper understanding of/preparation for the Sacraments of First Confession, First Communion, and Confirmation. Various Church teachings form part of an overall curriculum primary geared toward preparing the children and their families for a life-long relationship with Christ and His bride the Church.
Each class is facilitated by knowledgeable and caring catechists. Preparation for the sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation are each based on a two-year schedule. Families are encouraged to become involved in the religious formation of their children. Along that end parent meetings and adult faith formation sessions are offered throughout the academic year for parents/caregivers and sponsors of children in the program.
